The most famous area for finding truffles is located in central Istria, especially around Livade and the Motovun Forest. This region has gained worldwide recognition thanks to the white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico<\/em>), which is considered the most valuable truffle species in the world.<\/p>\n
